ADRP 2022 Highlights

Passionate, fun, resourceful, creative, and tenacious are all words that describe the amazing donor recruitment professionals that the BioLinked team had the pleasure of connecting with at the Association of Donor Recruitment Professionals (ADRP) Annual Conference in April.

Held in Phoenix this year, ADRP’s annual conference brought together blood center leadership professionals from senior management to collections, donor recruitment, marketing, public relations, and communications teams to engage in relevant expert-lead sessions, small group roundtables, and exhibits highlighting the latest trends in collections, donor recruitment, and engagement.

Beyond connecting with numerous partners and friends, Joy Invina-Hernandez, Head of Partner Relations and Jennifer Massey, Head of Marketing and Communications, spent the week finding out more about the creative ways our Blood Center Partners are reaching their donors. We learned that innovation and collaboration are major initiatives for our partners in 2022 as they collectively admit that doing the same thing they’ve always done isn’t working anymore. No longer is the same emergent call to donate blood yielding the kind of results that are required to meet the needs of their communities.

As the nationwide blood shortage continues, our Blood Center Partners are using every creative avenue at their disposal to deliver their lifesaving message. From clever PR events to partnerships with local media, it is evident that blood donor professionals are stepping up to the challenge.

Many conference attendees that we spoke with were interested in learning more about the unique way BioLinked can also serve their audience. As potential collaborators, they were excited to learn that partnered with BioLinked, we would help them engage their donors in new ways through participation in clinical research. The event was an excellent way to connect BioLinked’s unique participant engagement solution to the current needs of blood centers across the nation.
